The above phrase has meant many things to many people and been used in religion and business. In this case, The Movement has truly begun! After several years of moderate success and fame, The Movement has started to emerge as a well respected and highly desired Rock, Reggae and Hip-Hop act.
The release of their latest album has launched them into iTunes stardom. With only 5 weeks in the iTunes Store, The Movement’s new album Set Sail is now the 8th most downloaded reggae album. Josh, Jordan, Jay and Gary have developed a sound and presence that keeps people coming back for more and telling everyone they know about this great band. It is this great combination of presence, musicianship and song writing along with a very well produced album that has been the winning combination for these guys from Philly. The band is currently touring the Eastern U.S. and will be in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, & Virginia over the next several weeks. The album downloads continue to increase as Set Sail, currently at 8, is sandwiched between Damian Marley's "Welcome to Jamrock" and Collie Buddz "Collie Buddz". Not a bad place to be for a young and growing band.
